Have you ever told a child, “Don’t run?” What did she do? RUN! How about telling her “Don’t spill?”? They went on spilling–it’s exactly what she was thinking. When you tell yourself “don’t ________”, what your subconscious hears is the ACTION, not the prohibition of the action.
So, for a day, I am going to frame everything--and I mean EVERYTHING--in the affirmative, for me AND for our kids. I'll think about and speak what I DO want, not what I don’t want. Instead of procrastinating in creating, I will pull out material today and start making the handbag I have planned in my vision for past two months. I will stop indulging myself in these addictive almond chocolate bars (especially late at night) and start munching on mini-carrots I have stocked up to the gill in our healthy veggie bin.

My chant: I see and focus on only the POSITIVE POSSIBILITIES!
